Terms of Use

Celestkart, operated by Celestkart Private Limited [pending incorporation], is an online marketplace for space components. Buyers find suppliers and components, send requests for quote (RFQs), compare quotes, place orders and track them. Celestkart also reviews suppliers before listing them and shows a Verified Supplier badge on approved suppliers.

Celestkart is not a manufacturer or seller of the components listed. Each supply contract is between the buyer and the supplier. Escrow and milestone payments are planned, not yet available.

Celestkart is for businesses. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the company you register, and by using the platform you accept these terms on that company's behalf.

• Give accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account, including sign-in with Google.
• Tell us promptly at the address in the Grievance Officer section if you suspect unauthorised use.

• Provide accurate company details and genuine, current certifications and documents.
• Describe products, specifications, prices and lead times accurately, and keep them current.
• Tell us promptly if a certification expires, is suspended or is withdrawn.
• Only quote for and supply items you are legally permitted to supply, with the licences and authorisations they require.

• Send RFQs only for genuine requirements.
• Complete the End-User Declaration truthfully, and tell us and the supplier if any of it changes.
• Carry out your own checks that a component is fit for your intended use before you order it.

A buyer sends an RFQ, either for a listed product or as a free-text request. Before suppliers can quote, the buyer signs an End-User Declaration for that RFQ. Suppliers may then submit quotes with price and lead time, and the buyer may accept one to place an order, whose status the supplier updates on the platform.

Celestkart does not guarantee that any RFQ will receive a quote, or that a quote will be accepted. Prices, delivery, warranty, payment and other supply terms are agreed between the buyer and the supplier.

The Verified Supplier badge means Celestkart has reviewed the supplier's company information and the certifications and documents it submitted, and approved it for listing.

The badge is not a warranty or certification of any product, its quality, performance or fitness for a purpose, and Celestkart does not inspect or test products. Certifications are issued by third parties; Celestkart reviews the documents supplied but does not issue or guarantee them.

Space components may be controlled items. Buyers and suppliers must each comply with every export-control and sanctions law that applies to them, which may include India's SCOMET list under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, the US ITAR and EAR where applicable, and controls implementing the Wassenaar Arrangement.

You must not divert any item to an end use, end user or destination other than the one declared, or to any unauthorised military or weapons end use. The platform refuses End-User Declarations that name a destination it treats as comprehensively restricted. This screening is a safeguard, not a substitute for your own compliance.

Buyers and suppliers are responsible for obtaining any authorisation, licence or approval their activity requires, including from IN-SPACe. Celestkart does not provide or apply for these.

Specifications, drawings, prices and other technical or commercial information shared through RFQs, quotes and orders may be used only for that transaction. Do not disclose it to anyone else without the owner's permission, except as the law requires.

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You give Celestkart a non-exclusive licence to store, display and share it on the platform as needed to provide the service. The Celestkart name, logo, Verified Supplier badge and the platform itself belong to Celestkart; the badge may only be used as Celestkart shows it.

Celestkart is currently free to use. Any future fees will be announced in advance and will apply only from then on.

We may suspend or remove an account, listing or badge if information is false or out of date, these terms or the law are breached, or we reasonably suspect misuse. Where practical, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Obligations about confidentiality, export controls and liability continue after closure.

The platform is provided “as is”. Product information is supplied by suppliers, and Celestkart does not warrant its accuracy or the quality, safety, performance or fitness for purpose of any product. We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the extent the law allows, Celestkart is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a contract between a buyer and a supplier. Its total liability to you is limited to [liability cap].

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be raised with the Grievance Officer. If not resolved, they will be settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in [Arbitration seat], in English, and subject to that, the courts at [City for courts] have jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. The version number and date at the top of this page show the current version. We will give notice of material changes before they take effect; continuing to use the platform after that means you accept them.
